1. Thoroughly flush and clean the motor’s cooling system before use.
2. Prepare the MAHIR Surface Protector mixture using 1 part (1 Ltr.) of MAHIR Surface Protector and 3 parts (3 Ltr.) of clean drinking water (Rain, River, Well, Government-supplied water, RO water ). Do not use borewell water.
3. Fill the motor to the full level with the prepared mixture.
4. Securely tighten all the water plugs along with the washer and ‘O’ ring to prevent any leakage.
5. Before final installation, run the submersible motor for 1 minute to ensure proper circulation.
6. The motor is now ready for installation.

NOTES: For Pump-set Manufacturer: Shake well before unfilling the drum. Also, during motor filling, continuous shaking is required.

Use DONEX for temporary filling during motor and pump testing, following the product instructions and your quality-control procedures.

1. Prepare the solution: For submersible or openwell motor testing, mix 1 part DONEX with 4 parts RO water. For self-priming pump testing, mix 1 part DONEX with 7 parts RO water.
2. Fill: Temporarily fill the motor or pump with the prepared solution.
3. Test: Carry out the required performance or quality-control tests.
4. Drain: Remove the solution after testing and empty the motor or pump before packing.
5. Reuse: Collect the drained solution for further testing only while it remains suitable under your quality-control procedures.

Temporary testing use only: DONEX is not intended for permanent filling. Use MAHIR Surface Protector (1:3) for permanent filling.

Product Usage Guidelines

DONEX Surface Protector 1:7 is intended solely for temporary use in Submersible, Openwell, and Monoset Motors for filling, testing and un-filling purposes. It is not suitable for permanent motor filling. For permanent filling applications, we recommend our specialized product: MAHIR Surface Protector 1:3, which is specifically designed for long-term use in Submersible, Openwell and Monoset Motors.

DONEX Surface Protector 1:7 is a water-based, non-oil anti-corrosive solution designed to form a protective film between moving parts. It effectively prevents rust and corrosion, while also eliminating choking and jamming issues during long-term storage, particularly at the dealer level.
