Donex Surface Protector (1:7) – For Pump-Set Manufacturers Only (Pink Liquid)

FOR SUBMERSIBLE/OPENWELL MOTOR FILLING-TESTING-UNFILLING AND RECYCLE

Temporary Filling and Testing Procedure

DONEX Surface Protector is designed for temporary filling during submersible motor testing. After testing, drain the solution and collect it for reuse, subject to your quality-control procedures.

DONEX forms a lubricating protective layer on the motor’s internal parts. This layer helps protect against corrosion and reduces the risk of choking or jamming while tested submersible motors are stored for long periods at dealer premises.

Testing Process

  • Fill: Temporarily fill the submersible motor with the prepared DONEX solution.
  • Test: Perform the required performance and quality-control tests.
  • Drain: Drain the solution after testing and empty the motor before packing.
  • Reuse: Collect and reuse the drained solution for subsequent testing only if it remains suitable under your quality-control procedures.

Dilution Ratios

  • Submersible / Openwell Motors : Mix 1 Ltr. of DONEX with 4 Ltr. of RO water to prepare 5 Ltr. of solution.
  • Self-Priming Pumps (1:7): Mix 1 Ltr. of DONEX with 7 Ltr. of RO water to prepare 8 Ltr. of solution.

Important Note

DONEX Surface Protector is intended only for temporary motor filling during testing. It is not intended for permanent filling of submersible, openwell or monoset motors. For permanent filling, use MAHIR Surface Protector (1:3) as recommended for the application.
